Here is how we are protecting your privacy.
This page describes how Hyperfocal collects, uses, and discloses information, and what choices you have with respect to the information.
Your privacy is critically important to us. Here are some things to note:
- Your personal information collected from payment forms or mailing list signup forms is never shared or sold to anyone, ever.
- Your personal information is shared only between internal systems, such as Stripe and Paypal for payment processing, Drip.com for email newsletter, and Paddle for order management. All those companies have been vetted and have security systems in place.
- If you want to opt out of any email communication, click the Unsubscribe link located at the bottom of every email we send.
- If you want your data to be deleted from our store or servers, contact email@example.com and we’ll do that as soon as possible (keep in mind that if you ordered products from us, deleting your data means you will no longer have access to updates, new releases, and bug fixes.)
When you purchase something from our store, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. This is done solely for the purpose of detecting fraud and illegal behavior.
Email marketing: when you subscribe to our email newsletter you give us permission to send you emails about our products, as well as special offers and other updates.
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. Your data is safe with us.
To protect your personal information and privacy, we take all reasonable precautions and we follow industry best practices to ensure that your data is not lost, misused, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, it is encrypted using SSL and the data is stored encrypted. Our order processing partner, Paddle.com, is PCI-compliant and they have safeguards in place to keep your data secure. We do not receive your payment information, only Paddle does.
If you would like to access, correct, or delete any information we have about you, register a complaint, or want more information contact our Privacy Compliance Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
